A thorough understanding of all aspects of marine and claims handling procedures.

We are looking for candidates to control the daily activity of the Imports Functions, To contribute effectively and be instrumental in the continued development and improvement of Import procedures, ensuring legal compliance with HMRC CFSP, IPR and CAP Sampling guidelines, with optimal efficiency and lowest cost, through close liaison with shipping lines, haulage agents, clearance agents and HMRC Officers.
Duties to include Shipment file preparation and maintenance, Coordinate the transportation of containers , Liaison with shipping lines, Liaison with HMRC, Liaison with suppliers , Liaison with internal staff - production, planning, etc., Container Scheduling and monitoring of shipment plan, Stock transfers, Container module management on ERP system, Purchase order generation / maintenance, Pre-payment processing, Stock Control / reporting, Cost analysis (Port charges, Transport, Detention / Demurrage), Marine Insurance claims processing.
Customs record keeping, HMRC audits / Queries, HMRC entries - CFSP, RPA License applications, Block guarantee account management, Deferment account management.
Candidates must be Familiar with HMRC Imports procedures, Bonded warehousing / inland clearance to home use, Deep sea shipping / imports experience, Strong Administrational Skills, Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, Experience of JDE desirable but not essential, Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
